Here's to the Dreamers // Alexis Senior Session

Here’s to the Dreamers

Although it’s a distant memory to me as a now 24-year-old mom, I remember the joy of being a senior in high school. I had all the options, all the aspirations, all the courage. I can still remember my senior portrait session as I played a piano on top of the parking garage and the moment served as a precursor to the journey I was about to embark on. I had absolutely no idea the path the Lord was going to send me on, but I had endless hope and determination.

Why aren’t the dreamers captured in senior sessions? Why are senior portraits oversaturated, overproduced, and almost uncomfortable these days? Why are senior girls dressed up in clothing they’ve never considered wearing before? I don’t like it. Not one bit. Let’s get back to capturing the authentic personality and giftings of these dreamers.

Meet my fellow dreamer, Alexis Lefils

Alexis, there are too many words I could write but I’ll leave you with this:

Never stop dreaming and allowing God to craft your creativity. He has mighty plans for you and I feel honored to have watched you grow into your giftings. You’re beautifully and courageously made. Let your light shine.
