I personally believe community is a significant testimony to the individual. Maddie & Sean’s community raved about the kindness, hospitality, christ-centeredness, and compassion of Maddie & Sean. It was a precious testimony to witness at the rehearsal dinner and at their wedding. Maddie & Sean were celebrated, uplifted, and admired, YET, they gave all the glory to Christ. Don’t get me wrong - their day was polished and externally exquisite, but the beauty on their day went deeper then the surface. They wanted Jesus to receive the honor on their day. Sean walked into the chapel singing the doxology and it was a beautiful setting for their day. They sang to the one who made it all possible. What a gift to celebrate a couple filled with humility and praise for someone greater than themselves.
