Grand Teton National Park // Hermance Vacation
Can we just praise Jesus for cooler weather? Texas has been quite steamy this summer so we took the opportunity to cool off by traveling up north to Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming. We experienced many firsts as a family; first family vacation, first plane ride with Ezra, first time experiencing Grand Teton, first time seeing a stinking GRIZZLY BEAR. The list could go on and on!
Our cabin was surrounded by these cute whistle pigs! They look mighty cuddly, but they aren't afraid to squeak at you.
Our little Davy Crockett adored the mountains and was the sweetest traveler. He's my favorite little adventurer. Also, would you believe that my mother-in-law found this hat in a shop and stitched it so it'd fit snuggly on his head? Well, that's exactly what happened.
Also, this was my first family vacation with my in laws and I feel incredibly grateful for them. I hear horror stories of in laws, but I thank the Lord for blessing me with them. I've never felt more welcomed and accepted than when I married into this family. To say I'm proud to be a Hermance is a complete understatement.
“The mountains quake before him and the hills melt away. The earth trembles at his presence, the world and all who live in it.”
Also, they spoil the heck out of this little man!
